This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 oh man what a journey。 my heart hurts in the best way possible。 in just three months i’ve been able to experience the joys and sorrows of attack on titan from start to finish。 i can’t imagine loving the series for years and to finally have it end。 each character had such good depth， and the way that there truly was no “good” or “evil” side was done brilliantly。 the battle scenes were incredible。 to learn everything at the end of the manga was done because of eren’s love for his mikasa and his fr oh man what a journey。 my heart hurts in the best way possible。 in just three months i’ve been able to experience the joys and sorrows of attack on titan from start to finish。 i can’t imagine loving the series for years and to finally have it end。 each character had such good depth， and the way that there truly was no “good” or “evil” side was done brilliantly。 the battle scenes were incredible。 to learn everything at the end of the manga was done because of eren’s love for his mikasa and his friends hurt so bad。 he looked so lifeless the entire season， and now we know why。 his loneliness struck me so much。 he just knew what had to happen in order to get to the conclusion， and man it just hurts so bad。 the ending was not happy， no。 the panels with the rumbling and the immense amount of people that were dying really struck me， seeing this animated is really going to be something else。 and hanji。 oh hanji。 the whole panel “keep watching over us” and they wake up with erwin and the rest of the survey corps watching them fly away absolutely broke me。 the amount of loss that has occurred was worth it。 and for levi to recognize that and know that it all wasn’t for nothing was what he deserved。 his solute to his comrades was so painfully bittersweet。 and connie and jean seeing sasha was everything。 but my god the way eren must have walked with everyone on the path to explain what would happen， killed me。 armin and eren got to visit every page of the book， finally。 and eren and mikasa， my god。 i truly never rooted for their relationship but now i feel so dumb for never realizing how much eren loved her back。 nothing explicitly had to be said， but the action was all there。 and eren， man。 he wanted freedom so bad。 it’s all he ever wanted。 but he gave up his own， so everyone else could have it。 i’m really happy with the way aot ended。 i couldn’t think of any other way。 it hurts to say goodbye， but thank you isayama。 and to the boy who sought freedom。。 goodbye 。。。more
